Don't you have to be a  dentist to do Teeth Whitening"?

Thats a common misconception, so don't feel bad. I received professional training and certification from Lumina Whitening to whiten teeth and I only use top of the line Dental Grade product.  Lumina Teeth Whitening partnered with one of the top teeth whitening hydrogen peroxide manufacturers in the world. Since 2007 they have whitened over 1,000,000 teeth!

Lumina prides itself on the integrity of its whitening products.

  • they are all natural and contain ZERO parabens

  • formulated at various strengths depending on each clients specific needs.

  • carefully crafted into a unique formula of hydrogen peroxide and other natural ingredients focused on the highest level of whitening possible while maintaining strong desensitizing agents to provide clients with significantly reduced pain.

  • gels are made weekly guaranteeing the freshest product possible.

How long will my whitening last?

Teeth Whitening is a cosmetic treatment which requires routine maintenance and touch ups. How long your teeth stay their new fresh white will depend on your diet , habits and the porosity of your teeth. Touchups are only $75 for returning clients.

Will whitening damage the enamel of my teeth?

Studies have been done to prove that  teeth whitening agents do not cause any softening or wearing of the enamel on the teeth! Acid  is the only element that can damage the gums or the structure of the teeth. For this reason, Lumina highly recommends that you DO NOT USE WHITENING STRIPS – These products work by dissolving/removing a layer of enamel to show the new white teeth. If you have overused Whitening Strips and now feel you have overly sensitive teeth – Contact Your Dentist - about restrengthening the enamel of your teeth.

CONSUMER ALERT: Whitening gels – because they’re not regulated – are where many treatment providers try to save money! Whitening gel is expensive when it’s purchased from a USA Distributor, FDA Registered, Fresh (no more than 7 Days old when applied to your teeth) and PH Balanced. Foreign purchased (typically China & India) and outdated/expired whitening gel (often sold on the internet), while very inexpensive – will not whiten the teeth as well!

What if I have sensitive teeth?

Lumina Whitening gels are organic, plant and mineral-based. The treatment not only brings instant results, but causes little to no sensitivity.\. We offer multiple peroxide levels enabling us to better customize each session for each client depending on beginning shade and end goal. The dental grade ingredients also include desensitizing agents to help alleviate sensitivity.  I also offer a pre-whitening mineral treatment if you know your prone to sensitivity. If you aren't sure, but end up feeling a bit sensitive you can take the complimentary mineral treatment home to use as you need.

Is age a factor in how white I can get my teeth?

Yes – Especially if you are a “First Time Teeth Whitener” . The older we get the longer our teeth have been exposed to life’s staining agents. As we age the mineral content of our teeth diminish which is also a factor of how white teeth can get. But you can still lift and I've gotten get excellent results on older first timers.

I have Veneers, Crowns orPorcelain?

This treatment will remove the surface stains off of any dental work. Your whitening treatment cannot make them whiter than originally created. But usually the concern is that your teeth are now more stained than the dental work, we will customize your whitening treatment to achieve a shade match of the dental work and the natural teeth.

How do you customize teeth whitening?

After a consultation I can set all the variable parameters including the ntensity of the Laser Whitening Light, the amount of whitening cycles will best suit your needs and goals.
